- He's an explosive Offensive Fighter that starts with high Damage Buffs, and gets even better by activating his Extra Moves and even simply staying on the field for long periods of time ( thanks to his Debuff ). Last but not least, both his Special and Ultimate Move are perfect tools to finish off an opponent.
- His durability isn't ideal due to his low stats at 3*, but him being very hard to catch through his constant Vanish Gauge restoration still makes it deceptively tough to take him down.

Ki Restore Speed | 2,334 |
- This relentless Offensive Fighter can maintain priority for his Team for long stretches of a Match thanks to his Damage scaling capabilities,Arts Draw Speed and Vanish regain mechanics. However, part of this relies on whether or not his attacks fore the opponent to switch Fighters, which is not always the case.
- His Main Ability makes him pretty much unavoidable Offensively, as he becomes immune to special Cover Effects, and provides him of a an Ultimate Move that ignores Damage reduction.
Critical | 1,423 |
Ki Restore Speed | 2,382 |
- He's a quite straighforward Support, as he provides consistent Damage Buffs, Ki on Switch and Heals to his allies. While his toolkit might seem a bit barebones compared to somebody likeVados, his consistency is his strength.
- Unlike most other Supports, he's solid Defensively, to the point it's fair to consider him a reliable Tank for the Team.
Critical | 1,476 |
Ki Restore Speed | 2,391 |
- He starts off slow Offensively in terms of Buffs, but considering he can stretch Combos through Strike Draw, put pressure on opponents through his AoE Extra Move, and deal great Damage through his Special Move which can basically always be used at a reduced cost, it's fair to consider him a decent Offensive Fighter even at the start of the Match. By mid Game, his Buffs usually reach their ceiling, by that point his Strike Cards hit pretty hard and his Ultimate Move is a very dangerous card, although that's the case for almost every recent LF.
- While he's not a Tank by any means due to his bad durability, Endurance allows him to be thrown in against moves that don't ignore the mechanic, for example Rising Rushes. In the context of Powerful Opponent, he's often paired with1st Form FriezaandFP Frieza, and specifically he makes a great Defensive tandem with the latter since both of them can control Rising Rushes capabilities, although they do that in different ways.

- Cell is a Fighter that thrives in the Meta at the moment thanks to his Anti-Tag capabilities that make him a natural counter for Saiyans and Hybrid Saiyans. Otherwise, he's just a pretty great option thanks to his all-around Buffs and Arts Draw Speed.
- While Cell needs to charge up a bit to unlock a big chunk of his Buffs, that's not a big deal as that's quite easy to do, especially by using the Charge-Step tech.

Ki Restore Speed | 2,357 |
- He can dominate the early Game through his Dragon Ball stealing capabilities that allow this Team to be significantly ahead of the opponent's in the Rising Rush farming. Typically, this means that the opponent gets to use a RR at least 30-40 counts after Powerful Opponent, which can potentially be game defining.
- Other than his Rising Rush farming utility,DK Piccolo is just a deadly Strike Damage dealer, who can deal loads of Damage with little to no build up. Permanent Anti-Endurance also makes him a fantastic response to Teams with high star Toppo/Super Saiyan Gohan.
Critical | 1,397 |
Ki Restore Speed | 2,384 |
- At3*, his early Game Offensive potential is quite limited even when paired alongside1st Form Frieza, but he can still be useful thanks to his overall utility.
- At6*, he noticeably improves Offensively, and most importantly he also becomes a bit more durable which really comes in handy, as he's supposed to last as long as possible in the Match to get all of his Buffs. He's generally a good and versatile Fighter all around, with permanent Anti-Endurance which makes him perfect againstHybrid Saiyan.

-
He's a resourceful Supportive Fighters, who can aid his Temmates through big Damage Buffs, Ki recovery on switch, and a nifty Extra Move that reduces the Team's sub counts.
-
He's a pretty self-sufficient Fighter after his Zenkai Ability, as his durability is now off the charts and he can benefit from various Offensive upgrades that make him at least decent in that regard. His Ultimate Move is also a deadly card once again.
Critical | 1,387 |
Ki Restore Speed | 2,294 |
- He's kind of a slow starter as he requires to get hit to get some of his Buffs, and wait timer counts to get others, but after his Zenkai Ability he's Tanky enough that he'll consistently reach late game in a healthy enough state to take advantage of his peak form.
- He's just an all around powerhouse when he's fully built up, as he can take advantage of Arts Draw Speed and incredibly consistent Damage output that make him great at comebacks among other things.

Discussion
Powerful Opponent is a Team that has many different types of Fighters, and as such it can be said that it has various identities: you can either go full Blast, full Strike, or do a mix.
Having said that, it has a couple Fighters that are good enough to be considered staples in most cases. For example,LF Perfect Cell thanks to his capability to directly counter some of the best Teams in the Game, through his sheer Damage output which gets amplified by valuable Anti-Tag Capabilities, and incredible Anti-Revive Effects which make him the right answer to the fearsomeHybrid Saiyans.
In general, Powerful Opponent has established itself as a Team full of Fighters that benefit from plenty of utility in their toolkit, specificallyDragon Ball Destruction is the niche that's really helping them right now in the Meta, as it boosts their Rising Rush control capabilities. Both the already mentioned Cell andFP Frieza are very important Fighters for that exact reason. Paring those two with a Tank like Boujack is a great choice, as it's a trio that allows you to take an offensive approach while having rock-solid defensive tools too.
A more peculiar choice would be the mixed Core with1st Form Frieza,Ape Vegeta,Kid Buu andFP Frieza, which combines great Supportive capabilities with some nifty Defensive options ( Vegeta Endurance + FP Frieza Dragon Ball Destruction ) and a couple aces up its sleeve that can really turn the tides of a battle.. Something that has to remembered is that, since1st Form Frieza needs a Frieza Force/Lineage of Evil ally to unlock his Support for the whole Team, the mixed core is filled with Fighters having one of those tags.
The addition ofSP Kid Buu GRN to the mix has also been really valuable, since he's without a doubt one of the Tankiest Fighters on the Team. Considering he also Supports, he's a fighter who can reliably cover multiple roles in pretty much any Powerful Opponent lineup, so he's the classic "glue guy" that really sets a balance for the Team, both in the Strike and Blast variant of the Team.
The Strike variant of the Team sacrifices a bit of utility for better Damage, asDemon King Piccolo is considerably deadlier thanFP Frieza, but lacks flexibility in terms of all-around Effects. Still, he single-handedly enables a very reckless approach to Matches that can annihilate most Teams, thanks to his Dragon Ball stealing Main Ability coupled with Anti-Endurance, meaning his Rising Rushes can only be Tanked by Revive Fighters.
Overall, the Team is steadily getting better, and now that it finally has various options to be used, the only thing it truly needs is more accessible options for the Team, as most of the Core Fighters are LFs.

He's still a really strong Offensive Fighter who can also stall incredibly well thanks to all of his Card Draw related Effects. Sadly, he has a pretty bad Z-Ability for the Team.

He's a decent Strike Based Fighter with nice Anti-Cover Effects and Blast Armor that always comes in handy, but he falls short compared toGoku Black overall, even in a Strike based composition as the latter can still do very good Strike Damage while having a much more resourceful toolkit than Jiren's.

His Offensive capabilities are quite high, especially against Saiyans, and his Debuffs combined with his Extra Move make him quite annoying to face all around. However, due to his terrible durability, he can feel pretty bad on a Team like Powerful Opponent, which doesn't have the means to properly Cover him most of the time.

Bleed Effects and Anti-Endurance make him a Fighter that can take opponents by surprise, but he absolutely needs at least 6* to be a meaningful Offensive threat on the Strike Variant of Powerful Opponent.

At his peak, he's a really strong Blast Damage dealer that can continuously harass opponents thanks to all of his non-Damage related Effects as well. His only real flaw is that he's a slow starter due to the relatively harsh conditions on his Transformation Main Ability.
